BURIAL VAULTS

     A burial vault  is a reinforced outer structure that  protects the casket against moisture and  the weight of the earth.
     The importance of a  burial vault is clear. A wooden casket over time will more than likely weaken because of the moisture and the weight of  the earth. This results in a sunken grave. First  of all a difficult sight upon a family’s  visit as well as a maintenance problem for the cemetery.
     One of  the greatest comforts of a protective outer  container is knowing the grave will remain intact  and undisturbed by nearby burials.
