The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Lorne Bonouvrie can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Lorne you were like a second dad to us when we were growing up. You and Marion making breakfast for us every weekend and then we tell mom and dad we were not very hungry, as well as both of you taking pictures of us in the backyard with the polaroid camera. You and Marion never forgot any of our birthdays and you always treated Rob, Rick and I as if we were like your children. I can go on and on of all the remarkable things you have done for us and how special you were to us. You will be truly missed and I am honoured to call you "Dad"...I am sorry that I am unable to make it to your celebration of life with me living in Vancouver but you will always be in my heart.
