Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Violet Valiquette can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Violet Mary Valiquette (Manion)
VALIQUETTE, Violet Mary (nee Manion) - Peacefully with her dear husband John nearby, as she slept early Saturday, August 23rd, 2014 in her 92nd year. Survived by husband of 68 years, John, by son Mike, grandchildren Jeff, Jenn, Greg, and Kate and by 3 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters Rita (Pembroke) and Marie (Ajax). Predeceased by son Jerry. Respecting Violet’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Friday, August 29th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m., followed by cremation. A short reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marianhill Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Special thanks to the staff at Marianhill for their loving care.
