Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Denis Born can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

BORN, Denis Eldon - Peacefully at Marianhill on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 in his 85th year. Denis Eldon Born of Petawawa, beloved husband of Elva Marie Born (nee Schofield). Loving father of Janice (Robert) Stranks, Brenda (Ken) Smallshaw, Sandra Born, Michael (Wendy) Born, Gary Born, Susan (Lorne) Britton and Jason Born. Caring grandfather of Evan, Rhys, Tegan, Kimberley, Kristopher, Joanna, Taylor and Myles. Caring great grandfather of Derian, Megan, Robin and Blake. Dear brother of the late Elva Kohls, Beverley (the late Ralph) Smith and Donald (the late Gayle) Born. Respecting Denis’ wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Petawawa on Thursday, October 9th, 2014 at 2 p.m., followed by cremation. Interment of Ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Palliative Care Unit Marianhill would be appreciated. Arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke.
