Obituary for Wilton McCarthy

MCCARTHY, Wilton - In hospital Deep River on Saturday, February 21st, 2015 in his 84th year. Wilton McCarthy “Honory Life Member of the Knight’s of Columbus” of Deep River (formerly of Chalk River), beloved husband of the late Fay McCarthy (nee Morin). Loving father of Danny (Brenda) of Petawawa, Tommy of Chalk River, Michael (Debbie) of Bowmanville, Howard of Oshawa, Karen (Jamie) of Ajax and Pat of Oshawa. Dear brother of Joan (Henri) Gentili of Deep River. Predeceased by parents Earl and Viola McCarthy (nee Sammon), by brother Ken McCarthy and by sister Myrna Cull. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Visitation at the Valley Funeral Home, Deep River on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Deep River on Thursday, February 26th, 2015 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Huntington Society of Canada would be appreciated.
