Condolence From: Kevin (Freddy) Sheedy President of PMHA
Condolence: Like all, I was shocked to hear of Colin's passing. How could someone so full of life and kindness slip so fast. My sympathies to his family and to our good friends within the Silver Stick family. Colin dedicated much of his personal time to minor hockey in Pembroke and had a profound impact on many youths in our area. Minor hockey associations like ours are built on the back of people like Colin that give tirelessly and ask for nothing. His smile and jokes will be missed in the PMHA office during Silver Stick this upcoming year. In honour of Colin, PMHA will make a donation to a needy child this year so they can participate in the game he loved.

Condolence: Thank you for being such a helpful neighbour and great friend to our families. Colin always, shoveled a path in his yard so we could use his yard as a shortcut to visit our family on Patricia Ave. He was always friendly, courteous, generous, and willing to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies to all who knew and loved him.

Condolence: What Makes a Man Remarkable ? His character, and the way he treats people. His sense of loyalty, and the way he's there for others. His generous heart, and his love for friends and family. If, you're lucky enough in life you will meet someone like Colin Gauthier, and have a forever friend. Our community lost a great man, and we lost a best friend. Colin was a man of integrity, goodness, kindness, and loyalty. He never spoke a bad word about anyone, and was always helping others. He gave from the heart, and expected nothing in return. He listened without judgement, and laughed with that hearty laugh, that made others laugh with him. He continually gave to his family, neighbours, and community. He will be remembered fondly by the football, baseball, and hockey leagues of the Pembroke area. We will be forever grateful for the time he devoted to coaching our son and daughter. We are heartbroken by Colin's passing . Our deepest sympathy to the entire Gauthier family. Peter, Cathy, Matthew, and Katelyn Boudens Truely a Remarkable Man

Condolence From: Brian Wilson
Condolence: Our deepest sympathy to Colin's family and friends. Colin was a very kind and caring individual who quietly helped out everyone in the neighbourhood. Colin's assistance to me and Florence is a big reason why I was able to live in my neighborhood as long as I have. Patricia street will never be the same without him. Colin tirelessly volunteered countless hours coaching hockey and ball and was a long time member of the silver stick committee. Many kids were fortunate to have Colin as a coach. I will miss you my dear friend. Brian Wilson and family.

Condolence From: Todd & Scherry Sylvestre
Condolence: We are very saddened by the news of Colin's passing. To many, Colin was referred to as "Coach" and we certainly can understand why from all the great stories that Colin shared with us at the lake. To us, Colin was a dear friend that we shared many stories with sitting on his deck, at the beach or around the bonfire. He was always so happy to have his children/grand-children at the lake. It will not be the same without Colin at the park....Todd will miss his buddy (I often referred to Colin as more like a brother to Todd....they had that uncanny resemblance). We will always remember the lovely music he oh so loved to play (from down east/Irish tunes). Missing you already Colin!!! Todd & Scherry (Beaches at Pinecone Park)
