STOODLEY, Herbert Desmond - World War II Veteran - Passed away peacefully at the Pearly and Rideau Veterans Health Centre on Monday, March 30th, 2015 in his 95th year. Herbert Desmond Stoodley of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Catherine Doris Stoodley (nee Gregoire). Predeceased by parents Joseph and Azilda Stoodley (nee Turcotte), by brothers Melville (Agatha), Arnold (Theresa), Reginald and Douglas Stoodley, and by sisters Florence Curry, Rita Bonnah (late Bill), Lily Marie Lepine (late Alex), Beatrice (late Lee), Irene Fraser (late Reginald). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke, ON, K8A 5T8 (613) 732-7481 on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 after 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke on Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 at 2 p.m. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
