Condolence: Dear Colleen, Quinn, Tess and Whitney, on behalf of myself and family, l would like to express my condolences in the passing of your husband and dad. Gary was a great person who through the years at work was a mentor for me and I always enjoyed working with him. As you are aware, we also enjoyed many golf outings and l know that Gary enjoyed his time spent out in the ‘boonies’ with us. In our last outing he was over for lunch to our place and was the only guy who went over to see my boys tree fort, they thought it was great. I will always treasure those memories and one thing I have realized as a result of this tragic event is that we have to spend as much time as we can with the people we love to be with.

It is obvious to see how much he was loved and adorned by the attendance at the memorial service. He was a great human being, and I’m sure his good qualities will be seen through his family for years to come.

My thoughts and prayers are with you to have the strength to pull through these tough times, God bless.

Chris, Tracy, Maxwell, Martin and Emmett Recoskie.

Condolence: Colleen, Quinn, Tess and Whitney,

We are so very sorry for your loss. Gary was a great person, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. We arrived in Ottawa last night - dad had a chance to relax and had a few drinks. I think it really started to set in and he was having a very hard time with it. He loved Gary so very much, as we all did. We are so glad we had the chance to know and love him. Please keep in touch.

All our love,

Shanan, Terry, Aleigh, Xjandria and Seamus

Condolence: Colleen and family;

I am a cousin of Garys from New Brunswick, a daughter of Edna & Reg from Blackville. I just want you to know that I am deeply sorry for your loss. It was quite a shock to us so I can imagine what it was like for you. I haven't seen Gary since we were teenagers but you never forget family no matter where they are or how often you see them. I can speak for my brother and 7 sisters in saying that our thoughts and prayers are with you as you cope with your loss.

Condolence: I would like to express my sympathy to you in your time of need. I worked with Gary for only a short time but he was one of the ones that definatly had a big impact. His warm, outgoing personalty made it impossible not to smile. He will be greatly missed and his memories will never be forgotten.
