Condolence From: Chris Recoskie
Condolence: Dear Colleen, Quinn, Tess and Whitney, on behalf of myself and family, l would like to express my condolences in the passing of your husband and dad. Gary was a great person who through the years at work was a mentor for me and I always enjoyed working with him. As you are aware, we also enjoyed many golf outings and l know that Gary enjoyed his time spent out in the ‘boonies’ with us. In our last outing he was over for lunch to our place and was the only guy who went over to see my boys tree fort, they thought it was great. I will always treasure those memories and one thing I have realized as a result of this tragic event is that we have to spend as much time as we can with the people we love to be with. It is obvious to see how much he was loved and adorned by the attendance at the memorial service. He was a great human being, and I’m sure his good qualities will be seen through his family for years to come. My thoughts and prayers are with you to have the strength to pull through these tough times, God bless. Chris, Tracy, Maxwell, Martin and Emmett Recoskie.

Condolence: Colleen, Quinn, Tess and Whitney, We are so very sorry for your loss. Gary was a great person, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. We arrived in Ottawa last night - dad had a chance to relax and had a few drinks. I think it really started to set in and he was having a very hard time with it. He loved Gary so very much, as we all did. We are so glad we had the chance to know and love him. Please keep in touch. All our love, Shanan, Terry, Aleigh, Xjandria and Seamus

Condolence: I am so sorry for you and your family, I was shocked and amazed to hear of Gary's passing. I worked with Gary for 33 years at AECL and if I could name one person of integrity and trust, it was him. I could always depend on Gary for professionalism in the work place. He was also the easiest person to get along with and he usually found some way to leave a smile on your face. He was well respected by his peers and I know I am going to miss him. I wish you and your family the peace and love of Jesus at this time and all times in your life. Thank you also for this opportunity to offer my condolences about a true friend.

Condolence: colleen, I am sure you are struggling with disbelief. We all think we are invisible even at our age until something like this happens. You married the most handsome man at Fellowes High School ( I am sure that I am not the only person who thought that) and bonus he was a great father, friend and husband. Everyone who came in contact with Gary was a better person for it. We all will miss him. I hope you will find peace and the strength to get through this very difficult time. Sandra

Condolence: May the Father of tender mercies, the God of all Comfort console the family and friends during this time of bereavement. I am so sorry to read about the passing of your love one. I send my sincere condolences to the family and friends . When unforeseen occurrences befall us, and the enemy death strikes ,our grief can be great. It is at times like this that we need comfort and support whether we are acquainted or not. May you find comfort in Almighty God’s promises of the ’resurrection’. As promised by his son Christ Jesus’…all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…’ What a grand reunion that will be! You and I have the prospects of seeing our dearly beloved ones again in a beautiful paradise. All of God’s promises will come true, for it is impossible for God to lie. Once again, you have my sincere and heartfelt condolences.-John 5: 29, 29, Psalms 37:29, Luke 23:43, Titus 1:2.

Condolence: Dear Colleen and Family, Please accept our most heartfelt condolences on your loss of Gary. We have many fond memories of Gary. Gary and I used to race home from Lourdes school at lunch time on our bikes over 40 years ago. Gary's Mom made a mean bowl of Lipton's Chicken Noodle Soup. The gang going skating at the Memorial Center on Friday nights and riding home afterwards in Hebert's Chip Wagon. We used to laugh that our birthday's were one day apart in July. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your Family in this time of sadness and grief. Peter and Bonnie Arnprior
