SALLANS, Margaret Esther - Peacefully at Marianhill on Sunday, May 24th, 2015 in her 95th year. Margaret Esther Sallans (nee Chaput) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Harold Sallans and by a previous marriage the late Thomas St. Amand. Loving mother of Joseph (Germaine) St. Amand of Pembroke, Reginald St. Amand of Kitchener, Dianne (Lloyd) Turcotte of Pembroke, David St. Amand of Belleville, William (Audrey) St. Amand of New Brunswick, Deborah Mathieu (Robert Johnson) of Westmeath and Keith (Alvenia) St. Amand of New Brunswick. Dear sister of Morel Chaput, Rita (the late Lennox) Leroux, Joseph (Donat) Chaput, Catherine “Kate” (the late Joe) Cliche, Clarence Michael Chaput and Joyce (the late Lionel) Beauchamp. Predeceased by daughters Evelyn (Edward) Hoelke and Helen (the late Alphonse) Lafrance, by sons Stanley and Wilfred St. Amand, by parents James and Louise Chaput (nee Seymour), by sisters Irene, Leona and Mary Jane, and by brothers Wilfred and Weldon. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke on Thursday, May 28th, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
