Obituary for Paul Emile Samson

SAMSON, Paul Emile – Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 29, 2015 in his 96th year. Paul Samson of Pembroke, beloved husband of the late Lillian Genevieve Samson (nee LaFrance). Proud and loving father of Betty (Jim Code), Rita (the late Gordon Chartrand), Roger (Teresa Brennan), Marcel (Jan Hopper), Richard (Sherry Dionne), Paul (Diane Robitaille), Suzanne (Ashley, Kimberley and Brittany Devine), Mike (Kelly Patterson) and Gerald (Sue Burke). Sadly missed by 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Marcel Samson of Montreal. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews from Montreal. Predeceased by twin daughters Nora and Teresa, parents Xavier and Anna Samson, by brothers Leo and Arthur Samson, by sister Blanche Boutin, by grandson Aaron Samson, and by great granddaughter Kaylee Chartrand. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to express special gratitude to the first responders, the O.P.P and Neville’s funeral home for their respect and dignity towards family and the deceased at this time. Arrangements by the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated.
