Condolence: It’s so hard to say good bye… Yet a blessing to know that he is in a better place, welcomed by the loving and familiar faces of those who have passed before him. May he live on through fond memories, family and friends. I hope everyone who knew James can find solace in these precious recollections and each other until little by little, time begins to ease the grief. Take care of each other in small, gentle ways. Big hugs to everyone, Love: Dominic, Natalie and Lucian VonRaven

Condolence From: Solange Wyver
Condolence: I will fondly cherish all of the little things Grandpa did in my memories: The way he’d lovingly call Grandma “Hyacinth”, from Keeping Up Appearances. How he would squeeze my hand three times to say a silent “I love you” when we were out. How he pretended to forget my name when we talked on the phone, calling me George, or Fred instead. The way he told his stories of service. Playing crib in the gazebo. The strength he displayed in his faith, and sobriety. I know that I am not the only one who has stories like this, and I hope that others will come forward to share similar experiences for all to remember, and hold dear. Grandpa was so proud of all those in his life, and he especially adored his wife, my grandmother. Let us not forget that in his death - I am so proud of you all too. My heartfelt condolences to everyone, as we lay him to rest. Take comfort in each other, and recall that while we say goodbye, others are saying welcome.
