GREER, Katherine Joyce - Peacefully at Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017 in her 61st year. Katherine Greer (nee Hammel) of Pembroke, beloved and devoted wife for 36 years of Mickel Greer. Loving mother of Thomas (Caitlin) and Joshua (Hannah Moss). Caring Nana to Dominic, Faith and Bentley. Predeceased by parents Lloyd and June Hammel (nee Lewis). Dear sister of the late Stewart Hammel (Carol), David Hammel (Susanne), Joan Buder (the late Robert “Bob”), Karen Quade (Barry), Barbara-Anne Leduc (fiance Rob Larocque) (the late husband Gordie Leduc) and Betty-Lynn Lafrance (Guy). She will be sadly missed by her godchildren Nicole Shankland, Tim Quade and Holly John. Sister-in-law of Louisa Greer (Wayne Mackenzie), Sandra Kostopoulos (nee Greer), Deborah Greer (Ron Holmes), Anne Greer (Bill Richardson), Hannah “Sue” (Ken) Pelletier and James Greer. Also survived and loved by many nieces and nephews. Kathy’s courageous battle with cancer is now over! Respecting Katherine Joyce's wishes, cremation has taken place.
