CHAPUT, Estelle Jeanne - Passed away peacefully at home with her husband by her side on Tuesday, November 28th, 2017 in her 78th year. Estelle Chaput (nee Boucher) of Pembroke is survived by her beloved companion, friend and husband of 59 years, John. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her devoted son, Rheaume and wife Shelley Lair. Loving Memere of Janice (Scott Canning) of New Brunswick, Jonathan of Medicine Hat, AB, Jennifer of Ottawa, and Justine of Chapeau. Survived by siblings Rhea Tolhurst of Killaloe, Pauline (Philippe Coulombe) of Ottawa, Gerard (Lorraine Legault) of Port Elgin, Francis (Linda Lapointe) of Pembroke, Rene (Deborah Radke) of Ottawa, and Yvonne (Bruce McGuire) of Arnprior. Best friend of Bonnie Fynn of Pembroke. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Glore and Lucia (Belland) Boucher and by siblings Lionel (Mary Provost), and Rita (the late Ron Lepine). Born and raised in Pembroke, worked along side her beloved husband in business until it was sold. Worked eighteen (18) years as the Secretary and Manager of the Pembroke and Area Chamber of Commerce. on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Pembroke on Monday, December 4th, 2017 at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. Spring Interment of Ashes in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Valérie’s Flutter Foundation would be appreciated.
