O’CONNOR, Major (Ret'd) Rory Emmett - On Monday, April 9th, 2018, aged 58. Rory O’Connor of Pembroke, loving husband of Deborah O’Connor (nee Sims). Devoted father of Eric (Angèle Mainville) and Sandra O’Connor. Caring son of Angela and the late Emmett O’Connor. Nurturing grandfather of Maaria, Noah and Adaline. Beloved brother to Sheila, Colleen, and Erin O’Connor and cousin Trish (Bill) Martin. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 14 at: Germania Club,15 Bennett St., Pembroke. The family will receive visitors at 1 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m. Rory was a proud and accomplished soldier, a talented chef and meticulous craftsman.
