Ivan Donald  Reckzin
RECKZIN, Ivan - Peacefully in hospital Pembroke surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 in his 78th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Through it all, Ivan was most proud of his family and his 58 year marriage to the love of his life, Inge Dermann. Ivan cherished his relationships with his loving daughter, Nancy, his son-in-law, John Shaw, his four granddaughters, Amy Shaw (Marc St. Louis), Kristin Shaw (Clyde Clouthier), Jamie-Lynn Shaw (Adam Brace) and Jessica Shaw (Tanner Rutz) and three great grandchildren, Cooper and Parker St. Louis and Sutton Clouthier. All of whom will miss their Papa dearly. Dear brother of Beverly (Orval) Petznick. Predeceased by his parents Herbert Ronald and Elsie Reckzin (nee Wagner). Ivan was known for his immense love of travel, boating, flying and golf. He proudly served in the Air-Force and owned Ivan’s Texico and Century 21. He served as the president of the Canadian Real Estate Association as well as the Petawawa Rotary Club. An amazing man with a heart of gold. We love you Papa.
