Born and raised in Pembroke, Lorne grew up in the family business, a legacy left by his great grandfather, James Neville, his grandfather, M. J. Neville and his father, Harry Neville. He has worked at the funeral home with his father Harry since he was a young boy. Harry enjoyed meeting, talking and serving people from all walks of life. He felt privileged to be able to offer a service to the bereaved families in the community. He encouraged Lorne to be approachable, compassionate and to put the family being served in the forefront. . After graduating from St. Columbas High School in 1958, Lorne attended St Francis Xavier Sixth Form College then the Canadian School of Embalming in 1964 where he received his funeral director’s license. Lorne married Theresa Lair in October of 1963 and they have six children, Paula, Lawrence, Carrie, Tracie, Christopher and Patrick and six granchildren Jacob and Jordan Shields, Jeremy, Ryan and Avery Seegmiller and Joel Neville. He is an avid sportsfan and recreationally enjoys playing golf.
Lorne has been helping area families for over 40 years and understands the needs of the community. Through the years, he has enhanced and expanded the services of Neville Funeral Home. He is committed to provide the same caring and personal service that started over a century ago. |  |

Christopher Neville is a native and life-long resident of Pembroke. He is a 1989 graduate of cole Scondaire Jeanne Lajoie and 1994 graduate of Humber Collage where he received his funeral directors license. He is fully bilingual. In 1994, Chris entered the funeral business and is now an integral part of its future. He is the fifth generation of funeral directors to serve families with the highest level of personal service and professionalism that has been a hallmark of our service to area families. Chris is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1351 and is an member of the Bereaved Families of Ontario, Pembroke Chapter. Chris is married to Nancy Crago, an elementary school teacher at Beachburg Public School and they have both been involved in many community activities. His hobbies include golf, softball and jogging.
Utilizing his highly developed technical skills, Chris takes pride in bringing comfort to the families he serves at Neville Funeral Home. Chris is honored to be the 5th generation of his family to work in the business and strives to serve all families to the highest capacity as his family precedents have.

Colonel Towriss grew up in Elora, Ontario and is a graduate of Elora High School. He joined the Neville Funeral Home in 1992, after 25 years experience in the funeral profession. He graduated from Humber College in 1972, where he received his funeral directors license. In 1969, he worked as an apprentice at Turner & Porter Funeral Home in Toronto, then moved to Ottawa in 1973 and was employed with Hulse, Playfair and McGarry Funeral Home. Colonel and his family relocated to the Valley in 1992 and he is proud to call it home. He is married to Linda Towriss (nee Dupuis), a Pembroke native and they have one daughter, Tanya. Colonel is an avid outdoorsman and his hobbies include hunting, fishing, boating and motorcycling. Colonel is dedicated to serving families with care and understanding. He is well versed in assisting families with the detailed paperwork and the myriad of decisions that need to be made at the time of death. |
