Obituary for Dale St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Dale - Peacefully at the Country Haven Retirement Home on Wednesday, October 31st, 2018 in her 69th year. Teresa Dale St. Louis of Westmeath, beloved daughter of the late Louis and Florence RIta St. Louis (nee Turcotte). Dear sister of Raymond (Edna) St. Louis, Wayne (the late Darlene St. Louis), Ann St. Louis, Carole St. Louis and Christopher (Connie) St. Louis. Predeceased by sisters Rosamond (the late Jay) Smith and Lea (the late Barry) Lee, and by brother Lawrence St. Louis. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Respecting Teresa Dale’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westmeath on Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment of Ashes in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Westmeath. Arrangements by the

My dear cousins and to all of Dale's extended family, please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful, sweet sister. I had the pleasure if getting to know Dale a little better this past year when she was in hospital. I loved her sense of humor and her matter of fact acceptance of life's circumstances. “Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful”

A saying on a small wood sign that Auntie Dale won at bingo while staying in the hospital this past summer. She gave me the sign and I have it set up next to my desk and I look at it every day in my office. Such a small thing but it meant so much that she thought of me and I will never forget it.

Auntie Dale was my godmother. I love her and miss her deeply. I know she is now in a better place where she is no longer suffering, and she has joined my mom and dad in heaven. She will always be in my heart and memory.

I am sending my condolences to the rest of my family. Especially to Auntie Carole who spent nearly every day by Auntie Dale’s side these past few months. Auntie Carole – I admire your courage and your strength to go through this with her. May you also now find peace and closure.
