Condolence: So sorry to hear of Shirley’s passing. When I first came to Algonquin College Pembroke we were both members of the Student Services department. Shirley Shaw was an outstanding representative of the Registrar’s Office who did an amazing job with little fanfare. She was one of the kindest people you would ever meet and her empathy and concern for the students was paramount. RIP Shirley, many of the alumni and staff of Algonquin are thankful for the job you did.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. Bob and I came out to Lake Dore several times over the years when Rod & Mern were there and we always had a great visit with Shirley. She was a wonderful person and a true lady.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Shirleys death. I know that she hadn't been well lately but I remember when we both did a lot of walking. We would meet on our individual routes and have a chat for a bit. Always such a lady

Condolence: Dear John, Kimberley, Lois, Donna and Family. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I was trying to remember my first memory of Shirley. I was a very young child, perhaps 8? and the family came to visit Aunty Mae (my mom) with Dawn Leslie in Ottawa. Being my first cousin, and having 22 years difference in our ages, as well as living quite far apart meant that I never got to know John, and Kimberley, and I'm very sad about that. Time and life just flew past far too quickly and I ended up living in Hamilton. I feel a great loss in Shirley's passing and I so wished I could be there to lend my support.
