SWAN, Beatrice Ann - Our Gracious Lord called my mom (Beatrice Swan) home on Saturday, October 8th, 2022 at the age of 78 years. Beatrice Ann Swan (nee Derion) of Eganville, beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Jean Derion (nee Whiteside). Loving mother of June (Barry). Caring and long time partner, Lloyd Henderson of 40 years. Caring Grandmother of Sheldon (Mikayla) and Cara (Ryan). Caring great grandma to Rebecca, Emma, Lauren, Liam and Aubrey. Dear sister of Joseph (Dorothy) Derion and Raymond (Geneva) Derion. Predeceased by brothers, Jack, Larry, Donald (the late Grace), Leo (Patsy) and Brian Derion, and by sisters Shirley Derion, Mary (Schauer) and Margaret Derion. Also left to mourn her, is her “Boys” Ringo and Rover, black and white collie/labs that she raised from young. She will be sadly missed by many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom knew her. Respecting Beatrices wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Sunday, October 16th, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke on Monday, October 17th, 2022 at 11 a.m. Many thanks for all the care my mom received in her last year; Miramachii Lodge, Country Haven, RVH Staff, Neighbours, Community Care and Dr. Wang. A very special thank you to the staff at Miramachi Lodge on 1A, in providing such great care in the last days of her life with us.
