STENCILL, Dorothy Marie - passed away at Deep River & District Hospital, with her spouse by her side, on Monday, January 16, 2023 at the age of 78 years.
Dorothy Stencill of Pembroke, beloved spouse of Joe Derion. Loving mother of Cyril Stencill (Karen), Ottawa; Anne Stencill (Paul Robinson), Pembroke; and the late Bud “Peter” Stencill. Cherished grandmother of Emma & Quinn; and Brandon, Jordan, Devon & Taylor; as well as great-grandchildren Xavier, Xander, Xane, Xephyr, Annie-Rain, Jax-Lee, & the late Violet. Daughter of the late Otto & Louise Stencill (nee Cliche), and dear sister of Yvonne Waito (Gord). Predeceased by sister Bessie Turcotte (late Ralph); and by brothers Tom (Elaine), Carl (Shirley) & Rene (Sue). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Dorothy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside interment service will be held at St. Columba’s Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to Neville Funeral Home, Pembroke.
