KAMINSKI, Edward Lloyd - Died peacefully on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 in his 64th year surrounded by his loving family at Pembroke Regional Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Edward Kaminski of Pembroke, beloved husband of Brenda Kaminski (nee McElveny). Loving father of Kaitlin Kaminski (Jimmy). He will live on in the memory of his sister and brothers Vanda Kennedy (Jim), Jan Kaminski (Judy), and Tad Kaminski (Laura). Edward is predeceased by his parents Victor and Hazel Kaminski (nee Burger). He will be fondly remembered by his father and mother in-law Al and Wilma McElveny, as well as by his brothers in-law Jamey McElveny (Angel), and Dale McElveny (Diana). He leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews Richard Kennedy (Catherine), Laura Blake (Tom), Cheryl Kaminski-Therrien (Barry), Jason Kaminski, Kristal Kaminski, Chad Kaminski, Travis McElveny, and Sarah McElveny. Also his cherished aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Edward was a 30 year retired veteran of the Ottawa Police Services. The Kaminski Family would like to extend their deepest appreciation and thanks to the PRH Emergency Department and ICU staff for the amazing compassion and care they extended to Edward and his family during his short stay. The family will receive family and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Tuesday January 10th, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday January 11th, 2023 at 11a.m, followed by cremation.
