RECOSKIE, Evelyn Mary (nee Heinze) - Beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 4th, 2023, at the age of 86. Evelyn's gentle spirit, kind heart and unwavering faith made her an inspiration to all. With her warm smile and loving nature, she touched the hearts of everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of love that will endure forever.

Evelyn Recoskie, wife of the late Elmer Recoskie. Loving mother of Cherylann Mielke (Brian Goldberg), Petawawa; Catherine Nieman (Kevin), Petawawa; Heather Pretulac (Dwight), California; the late Arlene Recoskie, Janet Hagar (Mark), Arizona; Carolin Nagle (Byron), Pembroke; and Cindy Yemen (Danny), Petawawa. Cherished grandmother of Janice (Dan) & Andrew (Krysta); Gregory (Megan), Stephanie (Bill), & Natalie (Pete); Amanda (Jonathan); Daniel (Julia); Gavan (Brenlee), Derek (Andrea), Amie (Erik), Mitchell & Kurtis; and Alyssa, Kiana & Jessica. Adoring great-grandmother of Emily, Christian, Tia, Cody, Chase, Dawson, Kenneth, Roger, Tyler, Gillian, Keira, Hanna, Peter-Kenneth, Margaret, James, Jayden, Kolton, Gabrielle, Zya, Abel, Brigid, Bower, Aliyah & Elijah. Daughter of the late Alexander & Elsie Heinze (nee Saar), and dear sister of Dorinda Eckert (late Roger). Predeceased by sons-in-law Kenneth Mielke & Roger Duhamel; and sisters-in-law Vivian Cybulski (late Paul) & Theresa Cybulski.

Visitation at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 357 Miller St., Pembroke on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
