Obituary for James "Jim" Howard
The family regrets to announce the passing away of James Joseph “Jim” Howard at the age of 77 years.
Jim Howard of Pembroke, beloved husband of Audrey Jane Howard (nee Borne). Cherished Dad of Carrie (Reid) Murphy and Colin (Sonya) Howard; and proud and caring Poppa of Chanelle and Ella Howard. Dear brother of John (Stephanie) Howard, Linda (Wayne) McGuire and David (Jane) Howard. Fondly remembered by in-laws Rodger (Bette) Borne, Gerald (late Billie Ruth) Borne, Lloyd (Zen, late Brenda) Flood, Jean Pierre (late Phyllis) Reid and Valerie (Dan) Trotter. Predeceased by parents Harry and Geneva (nee Carroll) Howard; by brother Terry; and by parents-in-law Verner and Emgard (nee Huhnke) Borne. Also survived by aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Respecting Jim’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 533 Borne Road in Alice on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. A time of fellowship & refreshments will be held at the Alice & Fraser Recreation Centre immediately following the interment. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, or the Pembroke Regional Hospital’s Cancer Care Campaign.
