BOURGOIN, Jerry - Passed peacefully with his children by his side on December 5, 2021 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital in his 69th year. Jerry was born June 11th, 1953 in Pembroke to Sylvio Bourgoin and Jean Turcotte. He started his career working in the meat department at Brash’s, eventually moving to Loblaws staying through the transitions of Foodliner West and Moncion’s Grocers. He found joy while playing sport, hunting, fishing and making others laugh. Jerry is survived by his pride and joy, his family: Brian Bourgoin of Pembroke, Rob (Aline) Bourgoin of Ottawa, Samantha (Matthew) Dussault of Petawawa, and Alexandra (Jonathan) Cox of Seattle, WA. Dearest Papa to Aiden, Julian, Graeme, Liam, Ellie, Kayden, Jaxson, and Connor. Loving brother to Andrew, Patty, Pauline, Perry, Greg, Kerry and Holly. Former husband of Kate Bourgoin. He is predeceased by his parents, his wife, Terry and his sister Marina. His family would like to thank Dr. Lane for her dedication and care. To his nurses Betty and Kerri at PRH; the care and compassion you showed in his final hours was exceptional - thank you. Respecting Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, Pembroke on Monday, December 13th, 2021 at 11 a.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID - FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE MASS.
