It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of "Jack" John Nelson Gregory Smith at the age of 77 years after a long illness with kidney disease. He was the last son of Harold from Bristol, England and mother Alice Ryan, born in Westmeath, Ontario and was the dear brother of Joan, David and Bob - all deceased. Jack grew up in Temiscaming and worked as a lab technician at CIP and was a surveyor in North Bay and Pembroke. Jack appreciated the company of friends and family and enjoyed golfing, fishing and especially painting. The family wishes to thank caregivers and neighbours for the compassionate care that Jack received. Respecting Jack's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Cemetery Service will be held at the Temiscaming Cemetery, Quebec on Monday, August 9th, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements by the
