After a long struggle with Parkinson’s Disease at Marianhill on December 5th, 2021 at the age of 74 years. John Thomas of Pembroke, beloved husband of Dorothy (Dot) Kelly of 47 years (August 17,1974). Predeceased by his parents Edward and Jeanne Thomas (nee Lamarche), brother Wilfred, and niece Nicole. Sadly missed by brother Peter Thomas and nieces Miranda and Natalie Thomas. Dear brother-in-law of Nollie Vickers (late Mike) and Sheila Greenough. Predeceased by his parents-in-law P.J Kelly and Lillian McGuire, brother-in-law Lloyd Kelly, sister-in-law Phyllis Tallon (late Jim) and nephew Stephen Vickers. John will be sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews. Special gratitude and appreciation to the staff of 2D and 1D at Marianhill who helped John through those difficult years. Doctors, Nurse Practitioner, Pastoral Care and Clergy. Respecting John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Thursday, December 9th, 2021 at 11 a.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID - FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE MASS Spring Interment at St. Columba's Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Society would be appreciated. Arrangements by the
