HELFERTY, Josephine Agnes - passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, April 13th, 2023 in her 93rd year.
Jo Helferty (nee Lesnick) of Petawawa, beloved wife of the late Michael Gordon Helferty. Loving mother of Michael Helferty, Alan Helferty (Joanne) & Barry Helferty (Cheryl). Cherished grandmother of Mandy, Jessica, Kyal-Joe & Matthew; and caring great-grandmother of Alyssa, Colin, Payton & Ambrose. Daughter of the late John & Winnifred Lesnick (nee Kydd), and dear sister of John Lesnick (Paulette). Predeceased by sisters Doreen Gribbon (late Herb) & Joan Risto (late Stan), and by brothers George (Dolores) & Thomas (Joan) Lesnick. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Respecting Jo’s wishes, there will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Petawawa on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
