BORUTSKI, Lawrence James - Passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 27th, 2022 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Rose Marie Borutskie (nee Recoskie). Loving father of Rebecca (Ryan) Kranz, Sean (Tanya) Borutskie and Amy Borutskie. Caring grandfather of Benjamin, Jack, Emma, Maxwell, Henry and Harrison. Dear brother of Anne (Milton) Nieman, Basil (Ruby) Borutski, Lorraine (William) Howell, Audry (Carl) Bromwich, Joyce (Allan) Cameron, Patrick (Cathy) Borutski, Andy (Diane) Borutski, Sandra (Philip) Skebo, Janet Sarginson. Sadly missed by his beloved Scottie Fannie, and many nieces and nephews. Lawrence had a natural charm and genuine affection for people. He enjoyed spending time, sharing stories and many laughs with family and friends. Lawrence was a valued employee of AECL for over 30 years. He was also a well known Cement Finisher who took great pride in his work. Lawrence’s hard work ethic and commitment to his friends and family will be cherished forever. His grandkids called him Poppa, and there was nothing he would not do for them. There are countless family memories at the cottage on Round Lake that will be cherished forever. Respecting Lawrence’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at a private visitation at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Tuesday February 1st, 2022. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Tuesday February 1 at 11:00 a.m. DUE TO THE CURRENT RESTRICTIONS REGARDING COVID, FACE MASKS/COVERINGS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE MASS. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the OSPCA would be appreciated.
