CHARTRAND, Margaret - With deep sorrow, our family announces the passing of Margaret Chartrand. Margaret passed away in her 93rd year. Margaret is predeceased by her parents John Hurley and Eileen Ryan, also by her brother John, sisters Terry (Alex) and Maureen (Eric) and husband Percy Chartrand. We want to thank the staff at SunnyBrook Hospital in Toronto, St. John Rehab Centre in Toronto, and the Pembroke Regional Hospital for the excellent care she received. Margaret moved into Riverview Heights Retirement Home in April 2021. We can’t thank the staff at Riverview Heights, the palliative care team, or the community care team enough for the respect, devotion, and professionalism they showed Margaret. Thank you all. As per Margaret’s wishes, a private family service will be held in the Chapel of the Neville Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
