GROSSE, Peter Rudolf - Suddenly at the Pembroke Regional surrounded by his beloved family, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, May 19th, 2020 in his 90th year. Peter is survived his wife Regina Maria, his daughter Tanya (Ben), 2 grandchildren, by brother Hans (Helen) and family. Loved and cherished by daughters Ursula (Klaus), Christel (Kartheinz), both in Germany, Annegret (Cameron), Susanne (Sapphira), by great granddaughter Rudy and Tracey. Predeceased by previous wives Adelheid and Christel, by parents Hermann Rudolph and Meta Ella Grosse (nee Richter), and by younger brother Klaus. Peter was born in the beautiful historic Dresden, Germany. As a young man, Peter immigrated to Canada in 1950 and made his home in Toronto for many years. He then moved to Trout Lake in Barry’s Bay, where he spend many happy times enjoying nature and hobbies. His favorite hobby was trains and displaying them elaboratly. Peter was a exceptional gifted artist and created beautiful landscapes , as well as a porcelain painter originally working for the Rosenthal Company of Germany. He was civic minded, always giving back to the his community with charitable donations and extensive volunteering work for the Cancer Society. Music was the universal language for Peter. He had a rich baritone voice and loved to sing in the church choir. An excellent square dancer for many years, he just loved life and lived it with zest and exuberance. Peter will be remembered for his strong faith in the Lord his loved, compassion and kindness and the testimony of his faith . There will be private service for Peter in the Chapel of the
