FRAPPIER, René - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of René Frappier at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, October 15th, 2022 at the age of 81 years. René Frappier of Pembroke, beloved husband of 56 years of Huguette Frappier (née Marion). Loving father of Lynne Frappier and Joanne (Bill) Bertier. Caring grandfather of Éric (Anne Marie) Lachapelle, Caroline Lachapelle, Mireille Lachapelle, Andrew Dantzler, Kyra Frappier. Proud great grandfather of Élyse Lachapelle. He will be sadly missed by sister Elizabeth (John) Lewis, by brother Roger (Linda) Frappier, by sisters-in-law Gisèle, Hélène, Marie, Jeanine, Mariette and Barbara Marion, by brothers-in-law Robert Dubois, Jean Gilles and Robert Marion, and by several nieces and nephews, especially Godchild Martin Dubois. Son of the late Henri and Victoire Frappier (nee Duchene). Predeceased by sisters Annette (Allan) Biggs, Aline (Anthony) Gagnon and Pauline Frappier. Respecting René's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Friday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Jean Baptiste Church, Pembroke on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at 1 p.m., followed by a lunch in the Parish Hall. Inurnment St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
