SAMSON, Richard - Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Thursday, April 6th, 2023, at the age of 72. Richard Samson of Pembroke, beloved husband of Sherry Samson (nee Dionne). Loving father of the late Aaron, Benjamin (Belinda), Nathan (Kristy) and Joel. Caring grandfather of Tyler, Eldon, Alyssa, Bentley, Ryann, Aaron and Nolan. Dear brother of Betty (the late Jim) Code, Rita (the late Gordon) Chartrand, Roger (Teresa) Samson, Marcel (Jan) Samson, Paul (the late Diane) Samson, Suzanne Devine, Mike (Kelly) Samson and Gerald (Sue) Samson. Predeceased by parents Paul and Lillian Samson (nee LaFrance) and by twin sisters Nora and Teresa. Sadly, missed by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Special thanks to the Access Homecare Nurses and the Ages Cancer Assessment Clinic doctors and nursing staff. Richard felt blessed, especially in his final days, to have the many visits from his family and friends. Richard truly enjoyed interactions with anyone he met and just wanted everyone to feel valued. Respecting Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Thursday, April 13th, 2023, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
