DURANT, Ronald Spurgeon Charles - Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, March 16th, 2021. Ron would have been 68 on May 11. Ron Durant of Pembroke, beloved son of the late Allen, and Lois Durant. Predeceased by his brother Daryl Durant & granddaughter Jasmine Hurndell. Dear brother of Nancy (Stan), Robert, Karen (Chris), Donna (Dave) & Lee-anne (Scott). He was a loving father of Collin (Rachael), Mark (Christina), Michelle (Dan), Mike (Bobby), Erin, Justin & adopted daughter, Natasha. Ron was a grandfather to 16 grandchildren. A great grandfather to 6 great grandbabies. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Loved by his girlfriend Julie Harris. Ron loved fishing, road trips and was never afraid to lend a helping hand. He was always laughing or giggling at something. Loved seeing jokes or funny things on Facebook and share them with friends and family. You could always call on him and he'd be there to help out. If you needed something he'd find a way to get it. Respecting Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
