I met Russ when we were both stroke patients at the Pembroke hospital. Despite his various health concerns, he was a friendly, funny, engaging fellow who took a lively interest in everyone in the unit. His stories of his trucking days amused us all at meal times, and we all became good friends. I am sure his larger-than-life presence will be deeply missed. My condolences to Carla and all his family.

Carla,
I was very saddened to hear of the loss of Russell. I cannot imagine how hard these last few years, weeks, and days must have been. I am sending you lots of hugs and prayers. Thinking of you.

Russ was not only our neighbour but a treasured friend and "buddy". I can still see him smiling & waving as he pulled out of the driveway in his "Big Rig" headed for another adventure. He will never be forgotten but live on in our hearts and our memories forever. Rest in Peace Buddy!!!

Russ was a wonder cousin and I will miss him dearly. He can now visit with His Aunt Shirley Davis whom he admired greatly. I recall the time when I went out with mom and dad at the local bar and restaurant. Russ was there too. He picked mom, Shirley, up in her chair and paraded her around With mom saying “Russ put me down you silly bugger.” The rest of us sat there laughing. Rest In Peace cousin.😓🙏🏻🌹
