SYLVESTRE, Sandra Colleen - Peacefully at home with family by her side on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 in her 74th year. Sandra Sylvestre (nee Duchene) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Paul Sylvestre. Loving mother of Tammy (Luc) Turgeon and Patty Furlani. Caring grandmother of Alex and Connor MacLeod, and Tia Furlani. Dear sister of Linda (Bernie) Cardey, Dennis (Christine) Duchene and Delbert (Andrea) Duchene. Predeceased by parents Bruno Henry and Cora Duchene (nee Verdon), by brother Garfield, by sister Joan (the late Bob) Harwood, Janet (Robert “Peewee”) Jones, Bev (the late Barry) Palmer and Gloria (the late Ross) Duchesne. Respecting Sandra’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Pembroke on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 from 1-4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
