I remember Sister Mary Carmela when my Father was a resident of Marianhill. She always made us feel welcome and will be remembered for her kind and thoughtful disposition. Doris, her sister, I knew very well and she too was a joy to be with - especially on our Senior Card Playing excursions. My sincere sympathy to Mary Ellen and other family members. Love and prayers.

Regina, Joseph, Jude & Rachel LEE We knew dear Sister Carmel from our days in Vancouver at Youville Residence. She was ALWAYS welcoming to us as we attended the daily mass along with the senior citizens that lived at Youville. More often than not, I’d enter the chapel for mass very late, toting a child on each hand. Her warm, friendly, and kind demeanour I would never forget. Not once was she annoyed or irked by our tardiness nor the noise my very young children were making. Her I am so glad that you came expression is etched forever in our minds. How blessed by God for us to have known such a saintly person. Years moving away from Vancouver to Hong Kong I would STILL write to tell her that those two “noisy” kids had aptly chosen professions in law. Her favourite line was “all is good”. Our family, asks in Jesus’ Name, that all will now be great for you Sister Carmel, as you soar in heaven next to God our Father for all eternity, amen. Please, in your customary kindness Sister Carmel, bless us as you did while you were here on earth, but now even more infinitely powerful as our intercessory power in heaven. She is our true friend for all eternity. What a life Sister Carmel led. What a pleasant and great person indeed! We shall miss you everso dearly. May you rest in peace.

I did not know Sister Grace Carmel personally. However, knowing her sister, Doris McKnight and attending school with Mary Ellen in Quyon, I remember these women as people of faith, joy, and kindness as I am certain Sister is also remembered. Deepest condolences to all who knew and loved Sister Grace Carmel. May she now rest in peace in God's loving care.
