Obituary for Wilfred "Willy" St. Cyr

ST. CYR, Wilfred “Willy” - Passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022 at home surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 60. He will be missed by his sons Kevin and Karl and their families and his daughters Tamara and Alexa. Beloved best friend and most trusted confidante and companion of Amanda Gray. Dear brother of: Ferdinand, Wendy, Janet (Harvey), Irene (Tom), Roger, René (Heather), Beatrice, Maurice, Roland, Ron, Doris (Miles), Diane (Mike) and Peter (Shari). Predeceased by his parents: Leo and Ange-May St. Cyr and his brothers Lawrence, Albert and Joe. Willy leaves behind many nieces and nephews and extended family members. Willy will be missed by a huge family of friends many of whom he considered brothers and sisters. He touched many lives and left his mark on many hearts. He will be very well remembered. Willy loved to be outside, fishing and hunting and climbing trees. He had a green thumb and made a huge impact on all who he crossed paths with. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella St., Pembroke on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. A Cemetery Service will be held St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke on Saturday, September 10th, 2022 at 12 p.m. followed by a light luncheon at 1201 Burns Drive, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Lung Association or the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
