Condolence From: Laura & Joe Power
Condolence: Joe and I were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Sister Mary (my Mom's first cousin and childhood playmate as they were only born 2 months apart…) Not only do I have extremely fond memories from the earliest days of my childhood spending my summers at Lake Clear - (I used to think it was hilarious when I was younger and the nuns were still in full habit and they would have to take a boat to Little Rock or the other side of Big Rock to go swimming because no one was allowed to see them out of their habits)…but she also touched my life recently, demonstrating her compassion and thoughtfulness during my father's decline in his last 2 years, arranging an ice cream cake to be served to my Dad in their private room on Fathers' Day while my Mom was away in Germany attending "The Passion of our Lord" and later graciously allowing My Mom and the rest of our family to utilize the guest room at Caritas House and to dine with them free of charge on numerous occasions. By the end, we all felt part of the sisters' community. She was a wonderful lady who will be sorely missed by all her extended family.

Condolence: My condolences to the family of Sister Mary Robert. I was a student at Our Lady's graduating in 1965. I have a lot of good memories of Sister who was an excellent teacher who really cared about her students. She instilled in me a desire to continue studying and get a post secondary degree and for that I am grateful.

Condolence: I have many fond memories of Sr. Mary, as principal of Our Lady's High School. She always had an open door to all of the students in her office on the second floor of the school and she was a great listener. God bless her.
