Dog Gone

I had the pleasure of working with Ed (Bags) in Germany when he was a dog handler. I guess that starts to date us, because I left Germany in 1970. Ed had a great dog, who on one occasion rode to work with us on the crew bus instead of where he should have been (in the dog truck). It was quite interesting when Ed found that his dog went to work without him. That day Ed spoke firmly to me.

I have many fond memories of Ed, and he will not be forgotten in my lifetime. Please accept my most sincere sympathy. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers.
