The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of George Carrigan can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Maureen Corrigan

To all of Geordie's family. I am his niece, daughter of His oldest brother, Dick. Larry and Barry my deepest condolences. My fondest memories of Geordie were of him and Evelyn visiting us when we were kids in Reserve Mines. It was always a great occasion and reason to celebrate. My mother would bring out her finest china and we would eat at the dining room table, not in the kitchen. Then there would be a party afterward and the relatives and neighbors and old army buddies would drop by. It was always a highlight of our summers when they came. And my father was always so happy to have his youngest brother home. He was very lucky to have met Dot after Evelyn's passing in his twilight years. May you rest in peace in the arms of grandmother and the rest of her children that are there with you.
