My condolences to Carl's family. I was in Carl's class for a number of years at Our Lady of Sorrows in Petawawa. I was bullied everyday at that school, by the majority of my classmates. Carl never picked on me and even stood up for me a few times. Thank you Carl for taking the high road and standing up for me. Cheers to you Carl, our lives were richer for having you in them.
He worked hard, played some, loved much, accomplished lots. He was admired by and an inspiration to many. He packed a lot into a tragically short time, but he couldn't have done it without you. What a gift you gave him. We will miss him. Thinking of you always.
