VAILLANCOURT, Mary Blanche Anita - Peacefully at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 in her 80th year. Anita Vaillancourt (nee Lapointe) of Pembroke, beloved wife of Arthur Joseph Vaillancourt. Loving mother of , Denis (Karen) of Pembroke, Ricky (Lynne) of Pembroke, Marcel (Crystal) of Pembroke, Nicole (Richard) Gleason of Pembroke and Ian Vaillancourt of Pembroke. Caring grandmother of Andrew, Tyler, Amanda, Justin, Travis and Holly. Dear sister of Ellard (Vivian) Lapointe and Marcel (the late Theresa) Lapointe. Sadly missed by close friends Linda Howarth and Glenda Hass. Predeceased by parents Denis and Mary Edith Lapointe (nee Hachey), by granddaughter Ashley Vaillancourt, and by sisters Georgette Babin and Madeline Tysick. Respecting Anita's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be at St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
