I am truly saddened to read of the passing of Adela. I met her and her husband, Ted, while I was a volunteer at Marianhill. She would smile when she saw him, and it was a joyful, loving smile. After he passed, she was painfully lonely. I rarely saw the smile. To see her photos has brought back memories and I cannot help but realize how fortunate I was to have met her, and spend time with her. She was in every way, a lady. I have framed, a piece of Tatting which she so graciously gave me..........I will treasure it forever. Adela, rest in peace, and reunited with your beloved Ted, keep smiling.
