I got to know Halyna between 2000 and 2002. She was an elegant, gracious and humble woman who had a voice like an angel. I well remember listening to her sing Dolnytsky's setting of "In You, O Full of Grace." It sent shivers down my spine. To listen to her sing was to be transported beyond the surly bounds of earth.

It was a great gift to know her and Fr. Zenowy, who became a dear friend. In this sad time, our only consolation is to know that she lives in Christ and, God willing, we shall all meet again. Until then: Vichnya pamjat!
