I am so deeply sorry for your loss Lee. I want you to know that I've thought often of both you and Bill over the years. I'll never forget the incredible experiences I had with Bill from the time we met and became close friends over 50 years ago. May he rest in peace.

I am so grateful for my time spent with Auntie Lee and Uncle Billy at Once-A-Pine. I often think fondly of captivating stories around a blazing camp-fire, competitive Scrabble games, epic food fights - all with John Prine or The Stones playing in the background. He filled my upbringing with proper grammar, life lessons, general shenanigans, and above all - laughter. I'll miss you Uncle Billy. I'll miss the way you shook hands like you meant it; the way your laugh filled the whole room; the way you'd smile, and exhale with something between a purr and a growl. I'll miss watching you walk bare foot in the snow. I'll just miss you. Rest well, Biffo. I love you.

Bill was the kindest, most generous man I have ever known in my life. He has influenced my life and the lives of my children that shaped who we are today. We were truly blessed to have had “uncle Billy” in our world.... he made it a better place. Lee.... I can’t imagine the great sorrow you must feel for the loss of your best friend and sole mate. And Derek and Warren.... my heartfelt sympathies for the loss of your dad! Know that he touched the lives of many.....
All my love, prayers and thoughts to all of you. Xox
