Dear O'Connor Family, my deepest condolences to you following the passing of Rory. We first crossed paths as young soldiers in 28 Ottawa Service Battalion back in the late 1970s. I had the pleasure to once again serve with him in Germany and Petawawa. Rory was always a straight shooter with the utmost professionalism and dedication towards his fellow soldiers as well as his family. A good friend, a good mentor, a great leader and a great loss to all that knew him. May he rest in peace.
