Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rory Emmett O’Connor can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

O’CONNOR, Major (Ret'd) Rory Emmett - On Monday, April 9th, 2018, aged 58. Rory O’Connor of Pembroke, loving husband of Deborah O’Connor (nee Sims). Devoted father of Eric (Angèle Mainville) and Sandra O’Connor. Caring son of Angela and the late Emmett O’Connor. Nurturing grandfather of Maaria, Noah and Adaline. Beloved brother to Sheila, Colleen, and Erin O’Connor and cousin Trish (Bill) Martin. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 14 at: Germania Club,15 Bennett St., Pembroke. The family will receive visitors at 1 p.m. with a service at 2 p.m. Rory was a proud and accomplished soldier, a talented chef and meticulous craftsman. A man of few words, but of great action and integrity. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
